Riverbank Press is an independent publishing house founded in 2002. Their original site was a static web site that used images for pages. Improving the web site for search engines by using live content and making it easy to add new publications was a top concern as we moved the site to the open-source content management system, Drupal .
The new design includes an integrated shopping cart solution to replaced a cart on a separate site. This approach unifies the customer experience and improves the management of order for the owner by allowing complete management of the site from one administration login. The cart chosen for Riverbank Press' web site was Ubercart , a new e-commerce module for Drupal that offers a clean checkout and easy customization.
