Start doing business on the web with an e-commerce web site. We use a variety of e-commerce solutions, which one we use depends on the needs of your business.
Your web site's shopping cart is the software that manges your products and processes the credit card sale when your customers complete a purchase.
Artopa has experience with several shopping carts. We will work with you to to determine which solution will work the best for your web site. After we determine your company's needs such as the number of product you wish to sell and your traffic and sales goals, we’ll design a custom template for your site so that your business stands out. We’ll work with you to setup the store and train your staff to complete the orders. When offering products for sale on your web site, security is an important part of having your customers buy.
According to research published by Visa:
61% of cardholders say, “I would shop online more if I knew my credit card information was secure.”
“83% of cardholders who haven’t shopped online say that it’s due to worries about the security of their credit card information.”
“...consumers who offer their card numbers online want assurance that their account information is safe.”

Besides having a SSL certificate, and displaying it’s secure site badge, you may also want to sign up for a security verification service that reviews your site daily. If your site is secure, they allow you to display a badge indicating that your site has passed their security tests.
Our Basic E-commerce Hosting includes a basic SSL certificate. Other certificates are available if your business needs a higher level of security
To accept credit card payments on your site, you will need an Internet Merchant Account and a Payment Gateway, which handles the credit card transaction between your shopping cart and your Internet Merchant Account. Your current Merchant Account may be able to serve as your Internet Merchant Account, you should discuss this with your current financial institution.
